Visiting PMC will give you a live sense for what makes us who we are.  We welcome your presence!

We worship at 10:00am on Sunday mornings, followed by Second Hour activities for all ages

WHAT TIME SHOULD I COME?

We suggest coming at 9:50 am for the Prelude. Our Sunday schedule looks like this:

  • Worship starts at 10:00

  • Second Hour begins at 11:20ish.  It includes

    • Sunday Forum (adult discussion class)

    • Youth Group (middle and high school)

    • Kids Club (1-6th grade)

    • Snack and Games (kindergarten and preschool age)

WHAT IS THERE FOR KIDS?

  • During the service: 

    • Childrens Time happens in the sanctuary during worship, when Pastor Dave spends some time talking and praying with the kids.

    • After Children’s time, kids 5 and under are welcome to go to the Nursery.  If it is your child’s first time in the Nursery, please drop them off yourself.

    • Also after Children’s time, kids 5-10 are invited to go to Children’s Worship up in the loft, where they will hear a story and respond in art or other activities.

  • During Second Hour 

    • Youth Group (middle and high school)

    • Kids Club (1-6th grade)

    • Snack and Games (kindergarten and preschool age)

WHAT IS THE SERVICE LIKE?

Our worship service involves different people and traditions each week. Our services often include singing, a short sermon, and sharing time. We practice communion (by intinction) on the 3rd Sunday of the month. On the first Sunday of the month, we host a potluck lunch following the service. Come and eat with or without a dish to share!

I'M NOT A MENNONITE. CAN I STILL COME?

Yes, definitely! All are welcome to attend our services and join our community. Here is more information about Mennonites

HOW DO I GET THERE AND WHERE DO I PARK?

Our building is located in the Swissvale neighborhood of Pittsburgh at 2018 South Braddock Avenue. Parking is available in our lot, which is on the other side of the parsonage, on South Braddock.  Additionally, parking is available on Dickson and Noble Streets and in the public lot two blocks from our building, on Dickson.

Our church is located in the Swissvale borough of Pittsburgh. Swissvale is approximately 7.5 miles from Downtown Pittsburgh and is easily accessible by I-376.

PARKING:

 

To enter the small parking lot beside the church, turn on to DICKSON STREET, which runs along side the church building. Follow the alley behind the church building to the parking lot on the right. There is also a municipal parking lot nearby. Follow Dickson Street past the church, cross over Noble street and the lot is on the right. There are also parking spaces along Noble Street, in the block behind the church.

DIRECTIONS:

From I-376, traveling east: Take EDGEWOOD/SWISSVALE Exit #77 (old exit #7, first exit after Squirrel Hill Tunnel). Follow right split of ramp. Turn left at stop sign, then right onto SOUTH BRADDOCK AVENUE. Continue ½ mile. Church is on the right.

From I-376, traveling west: Take EDGEWOOD/SWISSVALE Exit #77. Turn left onto SOUTH BRADDOCK AVENUE. Continue ½ mile. Church is on the right.

From eastern boundary of Pittsburgh: From intersection with FORBES AVE. and SOUTH BRADDOCK, proceed southward on SOUTH BRADDOCK AVE., toward I-376. After passing under I-376, continue ½ mile. Church is on the right.

From Homestead and West Mifflin: Cross RANKIN BRIDGE. Continue northward on SOUTH BRADDOCK AVENUE, about one mile. Church is on the left.
