SMALL GROUPS
At PMC the relationships we cultivate together are the lifeblood of the community. Small groups are one of the important ways this happens.
The Wonder Years
We are a non-judgmental, supportive group of parents of young children. We rotate hosting small, unstructured gatherings on a monthly basis. While we aren't open to new members due to needing to keep the group small to fit the chaos in our homes, we think our group model could be replicated by other parents and caregivers who would appreciate a similar type of support.
NOT ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS
Grow Group
To grow edible and beautiful plants around PMC for the enjoyment of PMC members as well as Swissvale neighbors. We don't have regular meetings but work together throughout the year planning, planting, and maintaining the landscape. No gardening experience necessary and you can choose any level of participation.

Women of a Certain Age (WOCA)
Women attending PMC who are 50 years old or older are invited to attend our monthly meetings. We meet in person in each others homes and/or via Zoom to discuss topics of interest that the group has decided upon at the beginning of each year. Our purpose is to share stories about our lives in a safe, confidential manner and provide support to one another. We generally have a Fall retreat and at least one unique month of cooking together, or visiting a museum, or having a party, etc. We currently meet the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

SLED
(Student Loan Experiment/So Long Education Debt!)
SLED started in the spring of 2012 inspired by Darin Peterson and Shane Claiborne's Relational Tithe. Since it's inception, over 43 individuals have participated in SLED, together raising nearly $86,000 that has gone toward members' education debt, with four members being able to pay off their loans early due to SLED (as of Oct 2022).

Voices Together
There are so many great new-to-us songs in Voices Together, so join us as we explore! This is an opportunity for us to discover the profound lyrics and practice less-familiar tunes, both for the experience itself and to strengthen the Sunday morning singing.
ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS
Games Group
Join us for board or card games in the fellowship hall on 2nd Sundays from pre 1 to post 3. Some will bring lunch and eat at the church and can start games as soon as they're done eating. Some can stay as late as 4. We'll definitely start a new round of games at 1 and play games that you can wrap up by 3 if you want/need to go. We value the communal sense of joy built as we play together.
