Except for the week spent building the house in Virginia, I will be setting aside time each day to study, write, and plan. I will be posting my reading list on the blog I have created to track my sabbatical: celebrantsummer.blogspot.com. Any writing I publish will be posted to the blog as well. Last, with help from Worship Commission and Pastoral Team, I will take time to do some planning for the coming year in terms of sermon series and lectionary seasons, as well as the flow of the year in terms of events and programs.
We will be praying for PMC, and we ask for your prayers as we travel, rest, and center ourselves for another season of work at PMC. I thank all of you so much for giving me and us this opportunity and cannot wait to share with you upon my return about what I have learned and how I have grown.
I love you, friends, and cannot wait to see what these next three years bring us!
